The Geneva Family Talks
The Geneva Family Talks is an expert discussion and knowledge sharing forum that facilitates deliberations on biblically prescribed family promotion and strengthening principles vital in building Strong Families now and into the future.
The forum brings together leading and upcoming global voices – institutions and individuals, with specialized knowledge, insights, influence and best practices, essential in developing cross-pollinated impact-driven theme-specific action plans and transformative roadmaps central in strengthening the nuclear family, from a Biblical worldview.
Forum discussions are conducted with the following considerations in mind:
- Biblical in Perspective: Reviewing current theme-specific consideration influencing societal worldview on the family vis-Ã -vis related Biblical principles and prescriptions
- Gap Analysis: Generating consensus on theme-specific policy, research and services portfolio gaps existing with respect to family strengthening, promotion and protection; with a view to formulating recommendations
- Information Pathways: Reflecting on vital awareness-raising avenues and channels vital in information dissemination for action.
- Replicable Best-Practices: Highlighting and providing inspirational life stories and replicable best practices in action/policy implementation for family promotion and strengthening.
- Collaboration and Capacity Building: Encouraging theme-specific collaboration and capacity building – even cross-culturally – with a local impact focus on family strengthening and protection
